Tool's Maynard James Keenan is branching out with yet another side project, this time named Puscifer. I think it's a safe bet to guess that name is a blend of the words "Puss" and "Lucifer." Why would I think such unsavory things about Keenan's new band's name? Well, you haven't seen the title of the album yet. Here it is: V is for Vagina. Wow. Ballsy. Or vagina-y, I guess. After contributing songs to two Underworld films, Puscifer has now completed its first full-length. V is set for an October 30 release on Keenan's own Puscifer Entertainment. And I bet you're thinking the songs on V are going to have nice little titles like "Sunshine and Bunnies" and "My Favorite Birthday." Yeah, right. Try the Puscifer original "Cuntry Boner" and a cover of the Circle Jerk's "World Up My Ass." Helping Keenan with all the filthy fun are guests such as Milla Jovovich, ex-Nine Inch Nail Danny Lohner, Lisa Germano, Alan Moulder, Trey Gunn of King Crimson, Tim Alexander of Primus, and Jonny Polonsky.
Thought on what the cover will consist of?

Wasn't Puscifer the name of his fake band when he was in the Mr. Show sketch? The sketch that originally introduced Ronnie Dobbs to the world.
