In what may be one of this year's most surprising and unlikely collaborations, Detroit's very own sex-obsessed rapper Danny Brown has teamed up with electro-pop duo Purity Ring for a brand new track entitled, "Belispeak II," which is essentially a sequel to "Belispeak" from Purity Ring's recently released and highly acclaimed debut album, Shrines.
As do the original lyrics to the song, Brown transforms "Belispeak" to "belly speak" as he raps about being hungry...
"Stayin' up late, I could never ever sleep. Feel a little hunger every time my belly speaks."
Danny Brown brings a quick and crafty flow to this rework accompanied by original "Belispeak" vocal cuts from Megan James. Listen to this brand new cooperative effort from Danny Brown and Purity Ring below.
