Pulp Reissues To Receive Long-Overdue U.S. Release

The reissues of the classic Pulp albums His 'N' Hers (1994)  A Different Class (1995), and This is Hardcore (1998) have been available in the U.K. since 2006. Jarvis Cocker has released two solo albums since then. After much waiting, the deluxe reissues of one of the finest Britpop bands ever to grace the earth will be coming to the United States on, Nov. 17.

 

Each album will feature a second disc of B-sides, a 32-page book packet with photos, and liner notes written by Cocker.

 

This is big news, as the B-sides have not been released in the States in any form, and the CDs, while legendary, have not received the deluxe treatment that would draw in many new fans. And if there was ever a time to reexamine the social commentary of "Common People," it would be now:

Bummer, this news comes to me as I received from my mail the deluxe-ed, UK release, This is Hardcore. Damn.
Why is their last album, We Love Life, always left out? The farewell album seems to be the favorite among non Pulp fans (or non-Britpoppers). Think about it Island, there's Richard hawley goodness in it.
