Public Enemy Promise Two Albums For 2012

After spending the last two years touring and asking for money from their fans on Sellaband, Public Enemy have told Billboard that they will be releasing two full-length LPs in 2012. The first, Most of My Heroes Still Don't Appear on No Stamp, is due out sometime in June, and is produced by longtime collaborator Gary G-Wiz. The second, The Evil Empire of Everything, is due out in September.

Apparently, both LPs are "concise statements that are connected in the same breath," which, okay. There isn't much news beyond that--Is there a label partner? Is Flava Flav all up on the album? Is it going to be as good as Fear of a Black Planet?--so for now, we'll have to just speculate. [DS
