PS22 Chorus Cover MGMT's "Kids"
Over the past year or so, the kids of Brooklyn's PS22 Chorus have warmed the cockles of the internet's cold black heart. Their seriously charismatic and energetic leader Gregg Breinberg has launched the group to viral (and now real-life) stardom through choral renditions of Top 40 fare, indie crossover hits, and classics, including Jay-Z and Rihanna's "Run This Town", Phoenix's "Lisztomania", and The Velvet Underground and Nico's "I'll Be Your Mirror." PS22's latest offering is a cover of MGMT's "Kids," which turns out to sound less icy and more earnest when it's sung by...well, kids. Also, one million extra points for reproducing the song's shouting kids introduction — and the MGMT superfan in the front row.
