For everyone shredding levels on Guitar Hero, there are the sad few who can’t even manage playing licks on a piece of plastic. Rejoice tuneless ones, for your product has arrived. React has produced a dual pedal that allows gamers to activate whammy and “star power” with their feet. Though the pedal will theoretically allow players to keep their hands on the buttons and not miss a note, the peripheral has a few limitations. Chief among them is that it only works on a PS2, but the pedal also needs four AA batteries and has a price tag of twenty-five dollars. I’m sure that lots of casual gamers are still rocking the last generation Playstation, but it smacks of desperation to shell out a quarter Benjamin for a peripheral to “kind of cheat.” Call in sick instead, and put in a little honest work on passing that “Strutter” level. New PS2 pedal lets you whammy and star on a slightly outdated system
