Prince Paul Brings ‘Negroes On Ice’ Play To Select U.S. Venues

Prince Paul will be taking his Negroes On Ice play to select U.S. venues in the coming months after the piece premiered in New York City last winter to a sold-out crowd. Negroes On Ice stars the acclaimed hip-hop artist, who triggers the score he wrote for the play live on stage. Other actors include his 19-year-old son, Paul Jr. (aka comedian P Forreal), and rapper Talent Harris. The play is directed by Ego Trip co-founder Sacha Jenkins and was produced by renowned promoter Peter Oasis. Oh, and the reason for the name? “We wanted a name that would make Richard Nixon roll over in his grave,” Prince Paul said. You can view the dates below.
