Over the past three years, directors Mikel Cee Karlsson and Fredrik Egerstrand have been gathering footage that comes together to create a film on Jose Gonzalez called The Extraordinary Life of Jose Gonzalez. It is set to make its U.S. premiere at next week's Noise Pop Festival in San Francisco. The film includes scenes of the Swedish-Argentine singer-songwriter in various locales, from his home to tour stops across the globe, and it's all meant to give further insight into Gonzalez's 2007 album, In Our Nature. As the above preview shows, Gonzalez was more than just the focal point of the film. He was given a recorder and camera to shoot some of his own footage. If anyone is hitting up the Noise Pop Festival next week, be sure to let us know about this film.
