Pretty Girls Make Graves split

After five years together, the members of Pretty Girls Make Graves are calling it quits. The Left Coast band--comprising former members of Murder City Devils, Death Wish Kids and Kill Sadie--announced last night that they'll hit the road one last time, in May. The reason for the split is the departure of drummer Nick DeWitt. Here is the message posted on the band's Web site, reprinted in full:
"We are sorry to announce that our upcoming tour in May will be our last. Nick quit the band and the rest of us feel like it wouldn't be right to continue on without him. The 5 of us feel very lucky to have met and worked with some truly amazing people over the years. Thank you all so much..."
Dates for the final tour have yet to be announced.
