To celebrate the July release of his latest album as Machinedrum, Travis Stewart has set out on a rare tour of North America to bring Room(s) to the masses. He's joined on the jaunt by like-minded dance music-enthusiast Chrissy Murderbot, who's also got a reason to celebrate. The Chicago producer dropped a full-length, Women's Studies, in May and is already prepping another effort, the I'm A Asshole EP, for an October release.
And on Thursday, Sept. 8, we're proud to present Machinedrum and Murderbot's gig at Public Assembly in Brooklyn, N.Y., with the folks at Planet Mu and Broken Teeth. The supporting acts for the show are Far East and DJ Scallywag while Dave Q, of Dubwar, is the night's special guest. For more information, you can follow Broken Teeth on Twitter and peep the Facebook event page.
You can purchase tickets, which are $8, at Resident Advisor or you can pay $12 at the door. You can stream Murderbot's "Sweet Thang" and view additional tour dates below.
