Prefix Premiere: Watch Kris Menace's "Hide" F. Miss Kittin (Video)

Chris Hoeffel aka Kris Menace has been producing hit tracks for well over a decade now. He’s collaborated with some of the biggest names in the businesses. Everyone from Thomas Bangalter from Daft Punk, Felix da Housecat and Spooky has all worked with the maestro to produce some of the biggest hits. A slew artists from LCD Soundsystem, Kylie Minogue, Depeche Mode, Moby, Benny Benassi, Röyksopp, Underworld and Róisín Murphy have requested his magic touch in remixing their tracks. So without a doubt, Kris Menace knows what he’s doing when it comes to taking an artist’s track and or talents and laying down a great foundation and creating an amazing song.

From his upcoming album Features, the new track “Hide” gets a special guest vocalist in Miss Kittin. Using her sultry sweet vocals, Kris Menace creates something quite familiar and nostalgic but also fresh with his slick production skills. The pulsating beat is surrounded by lush synths and bubbling electronics flying over Miss Kittin’s alluring vocals. Don’t be surprised if you start to hear this track everywhere before the end of the year.

Accompanying the song is the music video by first time director Mathieu Bêtard. Using an assortment of animated visuals, the video really is a throwback to the eighties. Creative, upbeat and fun – the video time warps you back to a time when all you wanted to do is dance with that someone in your arms.

Kris Menace’s new album Features also includes collaborations with The Presets, Robert Owens, Simon Lord, The Glass and others. It will be released November 20, 2012 on Compuphonic Records. You can preorder the new album on iTunes and Amazon.com now.
