Shortly after announcing they were changing their name from the Morning Benders to Pop Etc, the Brooklyn-via-San-Francisco indie-pop three-piece dropped a self-titled mixtape. And now, the band is getting ready to offer up their first LP under the new moniker. According to an interview frontman Chris Chu recently did with Pitchfork, the album will be self-titled and should debut June 12 via Rough Trade. Additionally, while it was mostly self-produced, we know big-timers Andrew Dawson (Kanye West, Lil Wayne) and Danger Mouse (basically everyone) also stepped up to man the boards for the LP. Check out the artwork above, and we’ll get you the record’s track listing when it’s available.
