Polyphonic Spree, Rooney announce co-headlining tour
The Polyphonic Spree (pictured) and Rooney seem like odd bedfellows for a twosome tour. The first band plays expansive, artsy music, the second stripped-down retro-rock. But whatever, rock music comes in so many various forms these days, who are we to split hairs? If the idea of catching these two bands together makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up with excitement, you'll definitely want to follow on after the jump to see the dates... 10/14 Pontiac, MI - Crofoot 10/15 Cincinnati, OH - Bogart's 10/17 Chicago, IL - Vic Theatre 10/18 Milwaukee, WI - Pabst Theatre 10/19 Minneapolis, MN - Pantages Theatre 10/20 Lawrence, KS - Granada Theatre 10/22 Denver, CO - Gothic Theatre 10/24 Boise, ID - Big Easy 10/25 Seattle, WA - Showbox 10/26 Portland, OR - Roseland Theater 10/27 Eugene, OR - McDonald Theatre 10/30 Anaheim, CA - The Grove 10/31 San Francisco, CA - Fillmore 11/1 Solana Beach, CA - Belly Up 11/2 Los Angeles, CA - Fonda Theater 11/3 Tucson, AZ - Rialto Theatre 11/6 Dallas, TX - House of Blues 11/7 Austin, TX - Emo's 11/8 Houston, TX - Verizon Theater 11/10 Jacksonville, FL - Metropolitan Park (Talleyrand Music and Arts Festival)
Will Annie Clark be there!? I'm totally in love with Annie Clark.
Schmid
Has she played with them since going solo as St. Vincent?
John Zeiss
I have no idea. I know she toured earlier this summer as St. Vincent to promote the record, I'm not sure if she still is. I don't really know how the line-up for Polyphonic Spree works with touring. She's still a part of the group, right?
