Merge bands reunite

The original line-up of Polvo (minus original drummer, Eddie Watkins) will reunite for the first time since 1997 and play the second All Tomorrow's Parties-hosted weekend of 2008. Ash Bowie (singer/guitarist), Dave Brylawski (guitar), Steve Popson (bass) will be joined by Brian Quast (Cherry Valence) on drums during this Explosions in the Sky-curated ATP that will take place May 16-18 at Butlins Holiday Resort in Minehead, England.
Another Merge act, the ''"on hiatus''" Versus, played a surprise show for the 40th birthday of Matt Daseman (drummer for True Love Always, Flin/Flon) at The Union Hall in Brooklyn last weekend. [Via: ATP Festival / Merge]
