Police admit suspected illegal narcotics found in DMX's home not actually illegal drugs

On top of finding twelve mistreated dogs and the burnt carcasses of three other dogs at DMX's home on Friday, Maricopa County police previously stated that in the raid they had also discovered a half-pound of an unidentified illegal substance. Turns out the tobacky was neither wacky nor tobacky at all; actually police still aren't saying what it was, but they now say it isn't an illegal drug. Sure made the raid sound a little more thrilling, did it not? Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio says that if DMX wants to collect his totally not illegal substance, whatever it is, he can come back to Arizona and get it; of course, after he faces possible charges of animal abuse.
So what is DMX saying about the veritable Dog-A-Cue discovered in his back yard? The rapper's attorney, Murray Richman, is still blaming a negligent caretaker for the abuse of the dogs, who were allegedly locked in their cages for 23 hours and 15 minutes each day.
