Rock goddess PJ Harvey will release her next album, White Chalk, September 24 around the globe, although a North American release date is uncertain at this point. Coming via Island, it will be the studio follow-up to 2004's Uh Huh Her. Reports have Harvey using piano more than guitar to craft the new songs. Joining Harvey on Chalk are longtime collaborators John Parish, producer Flood, and Dirty Three drummer Jim White.
