Polly Jean Harvey is marking the 2nd anniversary of UK Radio 1 legend John Peel'''s passing by releasing a disc of her Peel Sessions, titled PJ Harvey - The Peel Sessions 1991-2004. The disc will feature 12 career-spanning songs, from Dry to Uh Huh Her, and has a UK release date of Oct 23rd.Additionally, those pesky rumors of Harvey's retirement can officially end. Though she famously stated at a Paris conert that she was through performing, Harvey has announced that she has written a piano-centric record, to be released in 2007. And finally, for those lucky enough to have tickets to the mega-sold out event, Ms. Harvey will be speaking about music with the Hilton Als at New York City's Supper Club as part of the New Yorker Festival.
