It’s been 12 years since PJ Harvey and John Parish united for their Dance Hall at Louse Point album. Now the duo have reconvened for a new record, titled A Woman A Man Walked By, which is due for release in March 2009. The pair have collaborated on a number of Harvey’s solo works, and Parish is credited on her most recent album, White Chalk.

Dance Hall at Louse Point was promoted by a short tour with a group of ballet dancers from the Mark Bruce Dance Company. It’s unknown what the promotional duties for A Woman A Man Walked By will entail, and actual details about the album are not forthcoming at the present time.  Meanwhile, Parish has recently completed the soundtrack to the film Nowhere Man, which has been shown at a number of film festivals across the globe.
