Stephen McBean's Pink Mountaintops project is set to make its third recorded outing on May 5, with the release of Outside With Love on Jagjaguwar. McBean, who's also known for his work with Black Mountain, will be joined by a juicy array of guests on the album, including Jesse Sykes and members of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Jackie O Motherfucker, and The Organ.

Even if McBean had no previous rep whatsoever, who wouldn't want to hear an album that identifies its influences as "Pink Floyd's The Final Cut, Christmas albums, that one Exile song and that one Echo & the Bunnymen song," and includes a song entitled "The Gayest of Sunbeams?"
