Got a family member or friend who's a huge Pink Floyd fan? Well, check them off on your Christmas list, because here's the gift you'll definitely want to get them: a massive box set entitled Oh By The Way. You'll have to cough up some major dough for it, though; not only will it consist of 16 CDs and some visual extras, but it will only be available in the U.S. as an import. Every Floyd studio album, from The Piper at the Gates of Dawn on down through The Division Bell, will be represented, including the band's ridiculously impressive mid-career foursome of Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall.

I had a friend in college who kept a special CD box just for his Pink Floyd albums. There's definitely a market for obsessives, it's just that perhaps that market is a bit closeted. |

Adam...ummm...rich boomers with money to burn? |

Question: who is the market for these kinds of massive, career-spanning box sets where the packaging, cool as it probably is, seems to be the point as much as the music on the discs? Floyd obsessives already have all these albums and a product like this is too unwieldy to be a good introduction.
