The off-kilter house music of Travis Egedy AKA Pictureplane is a play on neon and grime, a wonderfully deadpan subversion of 90s dance music. Lovepump United is set to release his sophomore album, Dark Rift, on August 4^th. Pictureplane has cut remixes of Crystal Castles, HEALTH, and Thieves Like Us, and he has also collaborated with Beruit.  He works from his Denver warehouse space, dubbed Rhinoceropolis, where such happenings occur as Ace of Base dance parties and art instillations that explore proper cafeteria employee conduct.
