You had to figure it wouldn’t take long before Phish got back together: as a group, they can make thousands of dollars from concerts without ever releasing new material, but as solo artists (well, the only guy who really went solo was Trey Anastasio) they make way less.
Finally realizing that situation, Phish have announced three reunion shows in Hampton, VA next year (March 6, 7, and 8). The tickets are $49.50, and the venue seats 13,800. You have to assume that if these shows sell out (I’m betting they’ll be gone in two weeks) the band will do more shows.
