Philadelphia's Officer Roseland Paying You (Yes, YOU) to Download Their New Album

Philadelphia band Officer Roseland is doing their part to stimulate the economy. The group is paying one dollar for every download of their album Stimulus Package. Music lovers or fans of innovative marketing can head to the band's website and choose from two dowload options. The first is labeled "Take," and makes the downloading party one dollar richer. The other, "Give,' makes donation in same amount to the Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation. Think about it this way: even if the album isn't any good, simply checking the "Give" option counts as your good deed for the day. Then again, how much money does Richard Dreyfuss need, anyway? You could invest that dollar in the Dr. Pepper Axl failed to deliver in November. Either way, you come out a winner. [Hypebot]
