Phil Spector Still Afraid of Dying in Prison, But Instead of Getting Shanked, He's Now Worried About Valley Fever

Phil Spector has spent a lot of time complaining about being in prison; namely that he wants a TV, he is afraid of getting shivved, and that he is treated like something less than a free man. His complaining finally paid dividends this week, as he was moved to Pleasant Valley State Prison in Coalinga (best prison name ever) from a rougher prison in Corcoran. But Phil is still complaining, claiming he'll die of Valley Fever after the move. The totally real illness (I thought it was the name of a store at the mall) has killed 18 prisoners at Pleasant Valley in the last few years, and Phil's wife (and by extension, Phil) is claiming that prison officials have given Phil a death sentence by sending him there. Which is only slightly less crazy than claiming that because you are in prison you are treated like an animal because you are forced to stay in a cell for a long time during the day (which Phil totally did).
