Via: BillboardA former assistant of Phil Spector owes him $900,000 dollars, after a judge signed off on a deal made between the two parties last October.
In a lawsuit filed in September 2005, Spector claimed that Michelle Blaine had taken $425,000 from Spector's pension fund without permission, and that another $635,000 was owed to Spector since Blaine had never payed him back for $635,000 she used to buy a Costa Mesa home. Blaine had previously argued that the money for a home was a gift and that the other $425,000 was to help finance a movie designed to improve Spector's public image.
Last March, Blaine had even filed a counter claim against Spector for sexual harassment and wrongful termination, but dropped it as part of the agreement. In her claim, Blaine stated that she felt she was fired since she refused to promise Spector that she wouldn't cooperate with prosecutors regarding the death of Lana Clarkson. Spector is accused of murdering the woman and will stand trial in March.
