started thinking about doing new stuff. [Maybe playing] some shorts again, even with Genesis. Everything is possible. We could tour in Australia and South America. We haven't been there yet.
(While touring in Australia sounds like a delightful idea, I'm 23, Phil - I haven't seen you perform over in the states. Do it for my Phil-loving crew!)
Any new music would be Collins' first since Testify in 2002. And while he has toured with Genesis as recently as 2007, he hasn't been able to take his commanding post at the drum-set due to extensive nerve damage.
Collins' manager, Tony Smith, spoke to Rolling Stone about the possibilites and stated that there are "no definite plans at this time."
It's never too soon to get your hopes up and put some classic Phil back in the rotation. Here's one of everyone's favorites...
