Pharoahe Monch Announces New Album ‘Rock Vs. Disco’

It looks like Pharoahe Monch is done taking upwards of eight years between his albums. You might recall that it took him that long to release his Internal Affairs follow-up, Desire, in 2007. It only took another four years for his third record to come out, last year’s slept-on W.A.R. (We Are Renegades), and it appears that he has another album in the works already. The project is called Rock Vs. Disco and here’s what he had to say about it to Montreality: “I’m working on a new project called Rock vs. Disco. A lot of rock joints. A lot of beats.” Hmm. [HHDX]
