Peter Hook & The Light To Perform Joy Division LPs In Their Entirety

While his former New Order (and Joy Division) cohorts are busy reuniting for some live gigs, bassist Peter Hook is gearing up to take his own act on the road. And he’s doing it in a rather grand fashion, too, as Peter Hook & The Light will perform Joy Division’s classic albums, Closer and Unknown Pleasures, in their entirety.

This, of course, has already happened in the past, though now he’s bringing it to the U.S. The jaunt will take the band across the North America, with Canada and Mexico getting some love. Which album they decide to play depends on the gig, though I’m sure they’ll probably play a few choice cuts off each record, too.

You can view the tour dates below. Peter Hook & The Light’s new EP, which includes an unreleased Joy Division song and new renditions of others, drops Nov. 2.
