Pete Doherty Required For Questioning In German Record Store Theft

Pete Doherty’s life is always full of incident, and he’s in the spotlight once again due to being at the scene of an alleged burglary at a record store in Germany. The singer was in Regensburg on Tuesday (March 8) where a woman told police that three men were acting suspiciously outside the store. One of those men is alleged to have broken into the store and stolen a guitar and some records, although Doherty is adamant that he wasn’t involved. “I was there but it wasn’t me,” he said to a German TV station. The police aren’t letting Doherty go that easily though—they apparently want to bring him in for questioning. Looks like another saga in the Libertines’ frontman’s life is about to open up.
