Pete Doherty fined for drug possession

Another day, another Pete Doherty court case. This morning at Thames Magistrates Court in London, the Babyshambles frontman was fined for five counts of drug possession (including crack cocaine and heroin,) to the tune of £770. His driving privleges were also revoked for four months.
While this may seem like a ridiculous slap on the wrist to most people, District Judge Jane McIvor felt that Doherty's offences weren't severe enough to justify a custodial sentence. Right...
Doherty shouldn't allow himself to get too comfortable though: He's due to appear back in court early next year for a review of his drug rehabilitation. I wonder how that will go?

After all, this is the same judge that fined Doherty barely over a month ago for five, count ‘em five, counts of drug possession.
