It's hard not to get excited when Pete Doherty heads to the studio, but there's also a hint of dread, as the only thing the ex-Libertine has done (pharmaceuticals notwithstanding) regularly over the last few years is disappoint his fans. Giving Doherty the benefit of the doubt, however, it should be noted that he has recorded a new track, "Darksome Sea," with producer Jake Fior.
