Perez Hilton Apologizes for Anti-Gay Slur

Gossip blogger and media personality Perez Hilton has admitted fault in using an anti-gay slur during the time of his and Black Eyed Peas singer Will.I.Am's confrontation. Will.I.Am and his manager Liborio "Polo" Molina allegedly confronted Perez outside of a Toronto nightclub where Hilton proceeded to verbally fight back.  Hilton said in a statement posted on his website yesterday: "I was in an out-of-the-ordinary situation and used a word that I would not utter under normal circumstances." Hilton continues "My intention — however misguided it may have been — was to stand up for myself and tell this belligerent man that I had enough of his badgering and was not going to continue to let him berate and intimidate me." The fight had escalated to Molina punching Hilton, and later being charged with assault by Toronto police. [MTV News]
