The bird is heading south -- after a few dates in the Midwest -- beginning at the tail end of February to bring its thinking man’s “instrumetal” to the masses. Pelican doesn’t have any plans to release a new album until 2009, but the Chicago quartet has a DVD release in February. “After the Ceiling Cracked + 3” features live footage recorded and mixed by Justin Broadrick of Jesu.
