Instrumental metal veterans Pelican have released a new track titled "Deny the Absolute." The track runs you over with five and a half-minutes of chugging metal. It's everything that you want from Pelican. Enter like a train, relentless guitar and drums, tear apart the structure, only back off slightly, churn through the middle like a pendulous flail, and push through the end with the same intensity that it started with.
This release is an alternate take of "Deny the Absolute," a song that will be included on the band's latest album Forever Becoming, out October 15 via Southern Lord.
The track comes from a forthcoming 7" that will be released on August 20 via The Mylene Sheath.
