Pearl Jam To Play Montana Show In Support Of Senator's Reelection Campaign

Pearl Jam will be performing in Missoula, MT on September 30 to support Sen. Jon Lester’s reelection campaign. If that’s not enough for fans, the Seattle rockers will be giving out a pair of onstage reclining seats for that show, as well as VIP passes, round-trip airfare, and a hotel accomodations, to one fan who donates to the senator’s campaign.

The winner will be selected through a raffle compiled of every donor who contributes to the campaign before August 24. Included in the package is a sit down dinner with Tester and longtime supporter and Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament.

"Jon is the real deal. He's a hardworking Montana farmer who has never forgotten who he works for or where he comes from," Ament said in a statement on the band’s website. "He's one of us, a rare gem who truly represents Montanans in D.C. I look forward to joining folks from across Montana in support of Jon to reelect him in November."
