Peaches To Be Honored By Harvard Lampoon

The Harvard Lampoon is the world's longest-running English-language humor magazine. Former members include luminaries such as John Updike, William Gaddis, Conan O'Brien and William Randolph Hearst. Honorary members include John Wayne, Winston Churchill and Kurt Vonnegut. So it's no surprise that this year they decided to bring someone of equal stature into their closed circle this year: explicit electro-clash rocker Peaches.

Yes, you're reading that correctly. According to the artist's blog, she will be honored tonight in a ceremony that will begin with a karaoke party open to the public, which will take place on the steps of the group's famous castle that they call home. From there, the party will move inside, where a private introduction ceremony will take place.

I bet John Wayne is crying in heaven (or hell) right now.

I think Paris Hilton won this a couple of years ago.
