American Idol Gone Wild
A brief synopsis: Paula Abdul conducts an interview with a morning news program seemingly under the heavy influence of some substance and makes an ass out of herself.
A few points of interest here:
* The fact that these newscasters interviewed her in a somewhat serious manner makes this whole situation that much funnier.
* Doesn't Paula have a manager or publicist that prevents shit like this from happening? After her Mary Kay Letourneu-esque scandal a couple of years ago that involved the show, you would think she could keep a low profile in situations like this. Then again, this morning's interview makes her 2005 scandal seem all the more likely.
* How hard is it to maintain your cool for five minutes?
* The not so-subtle-jab about Seattle fifteen seconds in is amazing. Especially when you take into account that a Seattle news station is interviewing her.
* Analyzing William Hung under the proverbial crosshairs . . . brilliant.
Update: Perezhilton.com has the publicist's response to the event and some good suggestions as to what was ailing Paula.

Billboard has a story that Bravo is developing a reality series that will follow Paula around, so looks like there's plenty more Paula hilarity to come! |

that woman is just ridiculous....prob manic depressant, and should be getting help rather than being thrown into interviews |

Damn. That's uncomfortable to watch.
