Is there no arena that Paul McCartney won't conquer? A recent tweet intimates that the former Beatle is setting his sites on video games now. He's teaming up with Halo creators Bungie to compose music for an upcoming, unspecified game, though it will probably not be Halo 4 as that game is being developed by 343 Industries.
Earlier this year, McCartney admitted that he thinks it's easier to make money through video games than by selling music through traditonal means. "It's a fascinating market," he said. "A new computer game sells so much better than a new CD these days. Young people will hear my music for the first time in a game."
It's probably a wise strategy, considering the staggering amount of young people who don't even know who he is. [NME]
