Paul McCartney Preps ‘Ram’ Reissue

    On May 22, Paul McCartney’s continuing reissue campaign will get finally get around to Ram, the singer’s beloved 1971 collaboration with his late wife, Linda. The remastered album will be made available in six different configurations, including a box set containing a whopping five discs (four CDs, one DVD) and a 112-page book about the recording.

    A critical flop when it was originally released, the past few decades have seen a mass reappraisal of Ram, which is now widely considered to be one of McCartney’s greatest achievements outside of the Beatles and an undeniable influence on modern indie rock.
