Pretty much every interview with any member of Interpol since the release of Interpol has centered around Carlos D leaving the band, and for good reason; he was the most charismatic member of that band. I think for the first time, someone got Paul Banks to talk about Carlos' departure (Sam Fogarino handled that duty in past interviews), comparing it to a marriage and a brotherhood. Undercover, a website in Australia, got Banks down for a pretty long time, talking to him for 15 minutes. Watch it above. But basically, he calls Carlos an A-Hole, and that's what's hitting blogs.
interviewer is an ass
CASEY
Carlos D was the most important and no bassist will play like him. Interpol is begining to get worse.
