Patton Oswalt releasing new album on Sub Pop, touring

Sub Pop is going to have to set up a separate comedy division if it keeps snatching up all these indie-rock-friendly yuksters. Now joining Eugene Mirman and David Cross on the label is Patton Oswalt. Oswalt is slated to release his Sub Pop debut on July 10. It will come in dual CD/DVD format. In June, he'll head out on tour with fellow funny-maker Janeane Garofalo.
