Patti Smith Covers Adele's "Rolling In the Deep" (Video)
Punk legend Patti Smith has been branching out lately; the singer just recently appeared on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and now a video has surfaced of Smith singing one of the most popular songs of the year.
At a show in New York the other night, Smith broke into an impromptu performance of Adele's Hot 100 topping "Rolling in the Deep." A couple of times Smith forgets the words and ads her own charming ad libs, but it's all in keeping of what you'd expect from Patti Smith. Check out the video above for the performance; the shooter is too far away from Smith to get a really good picture, but the sound is nice and clear.
