I was thrilled to see that Brooklyn Vegan posted on Patrick Watson today. It shocks and angers me that this Montreal singer-songwriter hasn't really caught on outside of Canada as yet, but hopefully his upcoming tour dates with Elvis Perkins and SXSW appearances will begin to change that. At least his fellow countrymen know what's up: Watson was just recently received a Juno nomination for "New Artist Of The Year." It's kind of a farce since Watson's first album was released in 2001, but I'll take it.
