Paste Magazine Raises $166k in Reader Donations

Last week, Paste Magazine appealed to its readers to donate money to keep the magazine afloat after a sharp decline in advertising revenue. It turns out that was a great gamble, because in just a week, the magazine has raised $166 thousand in reader donations. That’s right, 166 large. Editor-in-chief Josh Jackson told USA Today that the donations will help the magazine stay open, but it isn’t “out of the woods” yet.
