Passion Pit To Reissue Debut Album Because Of Course They Are

I know I might be amongst the few of us who totally dug Passion Pit’s Manners but even I find this news to be quite sketchy in nature: The band is reissuing their 10-month old debut because of course they are. The reissued version, due out on April 13, will feature the original album with new artwork, two “stripped-down” tracks (“Sleepyhead” and “Moth’s Wings”) and a cover of the Cranberries’ “Dreams,” which the band plays live all the time. There’s a version above. I’m not sure a cover is worth a reissue, but it works for major label artists all the time, so why not a band from Frenchkiss? I’m curious how this will sound in a studio version. [Pitchfork]
