Paramore recording for "Twilight" soundtrack

Somewhere a 15 year-old girl with a dog-eared, copy of Breaking Dawn and a room covered with Paramore posters is levitating with happiness. Paramore front-lady Hayley Williams recently dropped on her blog that the band is recording songs "for a possible shot at the 'Twilight' soundtrack." The first book in the popular series of novels has been made into a film by Summit Entertainment, to be released in late November. I'd previously thought it impossible that anything could make me less inclined to see this movie, but the prospect of listening to Paramore while watching a shlocky love story concerning a teenage girl and a vampire based on a "young-adult" novel, has just given that inclination a half-life. I hate reiterate my comments on this band from the VMA's live blog but---

I liked this band better when the singer had blonde hair and wasn't tone deaf, they played punk and they didn't suck.

Andrew, I remember the only act you liked at the VMAs was Tokio Hotel and that was because that hot girl was in the band.

This "hot girl" from Tokio Hotel everyone is talking about is actually a guy. He does look like Bjork though.

Yeah, I think the sarcasm was lost. I think maybe its because I call them chicks at every turn.

And yes I love Tokio Hotel because that broad that sings for them is smoking.

Poison were chicks too weren't they? And L, I'm not being sarcastic, I really thought Tokio Hotel are chicks. I mean, the lead singer does look like Winona Rider.
