Papercuts prep new album, tour with Grizzly Bear

It looks like 2007 could shape up to be a good year for Jason Quever. He's the Bay Area-based music maker who goes by the name Papercuts when performing. Papercuts' sophomore album, Can't Go Back, will be released March 6 on Gnomonsong, a little label run by Devendra Banheart and Andy Cabic of Vetiver. Other acts on the label include Feathers and Jana Hunter.
Not enough big-name indie support for the guy yet? How about that Grizzly Bear has tapped Quever as an opening act for its upcoming tour. Listen to the cut "John Brown" from Can't Go On below and continue on after the jump for the Grizzly Bear/Papercuts tour info.
