This Day in Musical Piracy

Lifehacker presents a tool allowing folks to actually save the music that gets streamed through Pandora's music matching service. Apparently the setup is a little tricky, involving a little command line knowhow, a bottle of superglue and an ancient Haitian voodoo chant. Once it's running, though, you can grab track information from Last.fm, and save with the click of a button, or put it on "Cruise Control" and grab everything you hear automatically.
Time Warner CEO Richard Parsons claims to have put the entirety of the Warner music collection ripped to approximately one thousand iPods, hidden throughout his mediavel fortress, before they went and sold Warner. I may be misquoting him slightly. Maybe that's included as a perk, but we'll give him the benefit of a doubt: Richard Parsons is gangsta.
