Over fifty concert-goers were arrested at a recent Eminem show in Slane Castle in Dublin, Ireland. Reports are saying that twenty-two were arrested for public order offenses, thirty five were arrested for minor drug offenses while one arrest was made due to driving under the influence.
This is all following heightened security after six stabbings, and two fatalities were committed at a Swedish House Mafia concert at nearby Phoenix Park. There were 80,000 audience members in attendance. And every one was searched three times upon entry. Security included the Coast Guard, local law enforcement, and private security staff to ensure a peaceful concert experience.
The Dublin concert comes only days after Eminem released his first new song—“Survival”—in a number of years. Eminem is scheduled to perform four more shows in Europe including headlining the Reading and Leeds Festival, as well as playing shows in France and Glasgow, Scotland.
