Earlier this year it was announced that Outkast (Andre 3000 and Big Boi) will be reuniting –after an eight year hiatus—to perform at Coachella 2014 in Indio, California. This was later followed up by the news that the Atlanta duo will be performing at more than 40 music festivals throughout the spring/summer of 2014 in order to celebrate the band’s 20th Anniversary.
And today it has been announced that one of those 40 festivals will be Drake’s annual OVO Festival in Toronto’s Molson Canadian Amphitheatre. During the festival’s 5 years of existence, the OVO Festival has brought out artists such as Jay Z, Eminem, Nas, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Stevie Wonder, James Blake, Frank Ocean, ASAP Rocky, 2 Chainz, The Weeknd, TLC, and more. As of right now the only two acts performing at this year’s event are Drake and Outkast. But, more acts are assumed to be added.
